Jenna joined the Foundation in 2023 after working as a consultant with Strategic Initiatives for 2 1/2 years. Having grown up in Kitchener, Ontario, she came to Victoria in 2011. She began her career in the charitable sector at a local land trust where she developed a passion for non-profit capacity building, land protection and species-at-risk conservation. Her deep commitment and gratitude to the charitable sector as the beating heart of our community brought her to the foundation. As Manager of Granting Initiatives, she supports the sector through granting programs, and impact and evaluation initiatives. When not working, Jenna can be found gardening, doing crafty things or enjoying the great outdoors on Galiano Island. Jenna and Morgan.
