Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association (VTRA) provides a therapeutic riding experience to children and adults with diverse abilities. Horseback riding is a recognized therapeutic aid and VTRA offers a variety of equine-assisted activities to more than 200 children and adults in Greater Victoria.
Masters of the Mobile Food Bank: How Fateh Care Charity won the hearts of the community
After moving to Canada in 2020, the Popli family founded a mobile food bank to support community members with mobility challenges. ‘Fateh Care’ means “winning hearts by caring,” a mission that’s grown from a family-run passion project into a wider community initiative.
