Spark Funds
Catalyst funding sparks solutions to our region’s most pressing challenges
We believe meaningful conversations build relationships, spark collaboration across sectors and accelerate impact. The Spark Funds initiative helped local organizations activate ideas explored during our 2023 and 2024 Vital Conversations. Designed to provide seed funding for projects that explored solutions to the affordability crisis in our region, the application and evaluation process was concise, swift and efficient to ensure the “sparks” remained lit.
Spark Fund Recipients
The Spark Funds hosted grant calls for 2023 and 2024 Vital Conversation participants. Successful initiatives received funding in $5,000, $10,000 and $15,000 increments. In 2024, $80,000.00 was distributed to 6 initiatives. $20,000 of that funding was contributed by Coast Capital. In 2023, $75,000 was distributed to 7 initiatives. Coast Capital contributed $20,000 in support of two projects. A special thank you to Coast Capital for contributing to this funding program.
