Building an inclusive society for all

Addressing structural and systemic inequalities is essential to building a just, inclusive and equitable society for all. Removing barriers and ensuring equal access to opportunities helps people from all cultural backgrounds thrive. There are many equity-deserving and equity-serving organizations uplifting Black, Indigenous and People of Colour in our community. Their programs and services address the impacts of colonization, provide anti-racism training, facilitate community learning initiatives, deliver Indigenous youth services and more.

Facilitating Action and Connection

Transportation is key to community support which is Hulitan Family and Community Services Society purchased of a van. Their transportation services cover from Port Renfrew to the Saanich Peninsula, both on and off reserve. For communities like Tseycum First Nation, where not many people drive, accessing safe and reliable transportation is vital.
