Helping You Help Your Clients
Helping you help your clients reach their philanthropic goals
Helping your clients realize their philanthropic goals and ideas provides an opportunity for Professional Advisors to do what you do best: identify creative solutions that help your clients solve problems and achieve specific objectives. By partnering with the Victoria Foundation, you may be able to help your clients reduce their taxes, increase their beneficiary’s inheritance, create a legacy for the community and teach their children about philanthropy.
Giving back to the community through the Victoria Foundation is easy. Your clients can choose from a variety of giving options to best suit their philanthropic and financial goals. We will take care of the paperwork, give counsel on strategic giving and connect them with charitable organizations making a difference in our community.
Both you and your clients will benefit by working with us

- We offer expert knowledge about our community, so we can help your clients be as effective as possible in their giving.
- We help you connect across generations. When you help families establish a Donor-Advised Fund with us, you and they can stay involved for generations.

Canadian Association of Gift Planners
The Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) is a national association that inspires and educates the people involved in strategic charitable gift planning. It advocates for a beneficial tax and legislative environment that strengthens philanthropic giving and creates a networking environment with like-minded professionals and experts. A national, non-profit organization established in 1993, CAGP is the only Canadian professional association that brings together charitable fundraisers and professional advisors. With many educational offerings at both national and local levels, government relations initiatives and a focused monitoring of regulatory changes and trends, CAGP is the go-to place for charitable gift planning.

Imagine Canada Standards Program
The Victoria Foundation was one of 17 organizations in Canada that received Imagine Canada Standards Accreditation in the pilot phase in 2012. We earned the “trustmark” of approval for our business practices in responsible self-governance, budget transparency and ethical fundraising. In the years since, we have continued to receive re-accreditation as a result of our ongoing compliance of the standards for membership.
