Julia’s educational background is a Bachelor of Social Work and a BA in psychology. Julia has worked in the field of child welfare since 1988 in a variety of areas, including adoption and permanency planning. Since 2011 her work has been at Indigenous Child and Family Service Agencies where she currently works as a resource team leader and where she is grateful to be a part of a team who are passionate about placing children and youth with family and community. Julia is a mother to two sons and has recently started the wonderful role of grandmother (most fun ever!).
