Donors are uplifting the next generation

From culinary arts and set design to horticulture and hospitality, the Victoria Foundation administers over 100 scholarship and bursary funds that support a range of specialized and standard educational and career paths. Inspired by their own areas of interest, generous donors have created these funds to empower future generations to pursue their passions and turn their ambitions into reality. The educational institutions designated by the donors adjudicate them.

Agnes Ananichuk Visual Arts Award

This award in memory of Agnes Ananichuk, a Victoria collage artist and printmaker, is made annually to a student at Victoria High School (SD #61) who has demonstrated talent in and commitment to the visual arts; has known financial need; and who is continuing their education in the visual arts at an accredited post-secondary institution.

Alexa Geminiamo Award

For a science fair student who has won three times or more and is going to the Nationals Science Fair.

Alexander and Glenda Kirk Award

Up to three awards are given to students in a Major or Honours program in the Department of Chemistry who have a minimum 7.0/9.0 GPA. Preference given to single parents or caregivers with demonstrated financial need and personal circumstances that prevent them from participating in co-op and/or work terms.

Arabella and Robert Award for Dance

Award to financially assist dancers so they can focus on their training, possibly without the necessity of a job.

BC Land Surveyors Foundation HR Goldfinch Memorial Award

Award for a continuing undergraduate student in the University of Calgary's Schulich School of Engineering, majoring in Geomatics Engineering, with a minimum GPA of 2.60. Preference given to a student with an interest in cadastral studies and who has completed high school in British Columbia.

BC Land Surveyors Foundation UNB Scholarship

For a University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus student who has completed at least the minimum requirements for the first year of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Geomatics) degree program. Preference given to students from British Columbia and/or students who are registered as a student or member of the Association of BC Land Surveyors. Selection based on academic achievement.
