Grant Snapshot: Our project brings WSANEC community knowledge keepers, ecosystem restoration specialists, community groups, and WSANEC youth together to heal the land in WSANEC territory for interwoven purposes of Indigenous food sovereignty and ecosystem restoration. We train participants in an ecosystem restoration model with a strong foundation in Indigenous land sovereignty while building capacity for cultural ecological resilience in the WSANEC community.
