Growing Young Farmers (GYF) Society works with schools, community gardens, and recreation facilities to educate children and youth about the benefits of growing their food. Children attending classes through the GYF Society receive hands-on gardening experience, as well as classroom time used to discuss the importance of local gardening and farming, and the role permaculture plays in food production.
