Grant Snapshot: Sweetgrass Arts and Music Society of Salt Spring Island, in partnership with ArtSpring as intermediary, is seeking support to deliver the Indigenous Peoples Weekend 2026 (IPW26) Opening Ceremony/Gathering and cultural programming taking place June 19–21, 2026. Funding will support Elder leadership, Indigenous artists and musicians, cultural site crew, tipi logistics, and event operations to ensure a respectful, well-supported Indigenous-led gathering.
