Grant Snapshot: This project aims to establish and sustain Indigenous food sovereignty and security systems at Xwaaqw’um. Through the development and implementation of a non-profit business plan, Xwaaqw’um Farm and plant nursery will produce food for sale and community sharing, reintroduce traditional keystone foods and preparation practices, and produce plants for sale and Stqeeye’ restoration projects.
