Grant Snapshot: Surfrider Foundation Canada is a leader in performing shoreline cleanup activity in BC. Our South Vancouver Island community chapter and University of Victoria student club perform 20 volunteer beach cleanups throughout the year that draw up to 200 people from the community for each event. These events help clean up the shoreline and engage people in a meaningful restoration activity.
