Grant Snapshot: This grant will support food security and social inclusion (two of the social determinants of health) for Galiano Island residents through a variety of initiatives. Initiatives include frozen soup and meals, good food boxes, community events (75 per year), a school garden, school lunches, community greenhouse, gleaning, equipment library, workshops and a food bank.
